NBC’s Kristen Welker put Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer in the hot seat during a recent Sunday interview, where she confronted him about President Joe Biden’s apparent mental decline. Schumer, being the lying dog that he is, immediately went on the defensive when Welker asked if Democrats, including himself, had misled the American public about Biden’s cognitive abilities before his disastrous debate performance in June.
During the interview, Welker didn’t pull any punches. She played clips where Schumer had previously praised Biden’s mental sharpness, only to now face the reality of Biden’s struggles. When Welker brought up how Americans might feel misled, Schumer dodged the question like he was dodging responsibility. He couldn’t even acknowledge if Biden, at 82 years old, was truly fit for another term. Instead, Chuck praised Biden’s record, claiming he’d be remembered as an “outstanding president.” Sure, if “outstanding” means being a placeholder while the country watched his mental faculties fade.
The interview was timed just right, coming a day before the official certification of Donald Trump’s win, adding salt to the Democrats’ wounds. Welker’s pressing questions highlighted the elephant in the room that Democrats have been tiptoeing around – Biden’s mental health – which Schumer would never admit to, even when it’s clear as day.
It’s just another episode in the saga of Chuck Schumer, the politician who will never confess to his part in this grand deception, even when all the evidence is laid out in front of him.
